About Street Property

We service Newcastle, The Hunter, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas, and operate our office in Newcastle. We engage and specialise in property transactions across the entire property spectrum. Our areas of expertise include residential sales and rentals, commercial sales, property management, land and apartment project marketing, and corporate and government disposal real estate consultancy Commitment to success for clients is a Street Property Group tradition. Street Real Estate was established in 1984 by cousins Terry and Max Street. The business operated from premises in Hunter Street, Newcastle and engaged primarily in residential and commercial sales, medium density development and residential property management. The family business expanded rapidly, and expertise broadened to include surplus asset disposal for government and private enterprise, project marketing of both apartment and land developments, industrial sales and development consultancy, and commercial property management.

Andrew Walker, Street Real Estate’s Principal, became a partner in the business in 1996 having commenced work as a junior residential salesman in 1985 and assumed sole proprietorship in 2002 upon the retirement of both Terry and Max Street. The Street Real Estate Group’s impact on the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie real estate market is primarily due to its philosophy of “providing genuine quality service with the client’s best interest of paramount importance”. Managing Director, Andrew Walker, states “that providing modern innovative real estate solutions from a multi-faceted organisation, where clients enjoy the experience is our major focus”.
